Last Sunday morning I dragged some of the family to Winchester Hat Fair. I had arranged to meet some friends there who have been going for years. This was my first visit so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. but I was really impressed with the circus/carnival atmosphere. The place had a real family feel and the fact that it was a free event made it even better.
There were plenty of stalls selling things from the obvious hats to the world smallest kite! I wasn’t too impressed with the food and wasted £9 on noodles that looked and tasted like a box of elastic bands and I have never seen an uncooked french fry until Sunday. I will remember to pack a picnic next year.
The rides and side stalls for the kids were reasonable and the bus ride for the kids was good value for money as they had their hand stamped to enable them to have more rides. There was something for everyone at this colourful ,vibrant event. I really enjoyed watching Magmanus ( who ended up bouncing on a seesaw wearing just a pair of skimpy pants ) www.magmanus.com and the Space Cowboy who worried me slightly with his chainsaw swinging!
The only thing that spoilt it was the weather. It was just too hot and after a few hours of sitting in the baking sun, my little girl was ready for the 2 hour drive back home. I would love to go again next year but I think I would find a camp site and stay for the whole weekend.

Tea with the Dom.
Today (27th June 2011) I met a local businessman who deals in fetish wear and Venetian masks. He also happens to be a Dom and is heavily involved in the scene.
John ( I will call him this as this is the name he uses on various websites) is also a dab hand at Japanese rope art and likes noting better than tying people up. Slightly kinky you might think but after seeing and speaking to some of the people I have met over the last few months I think its quite tame! I am really interested in doing a shoot of his art and I am hoping I can find a suitable model.
As a supplier of fetish wear, John has invited me to the SWAMP www.swampinbristol.org.uk market where he holds a stall. This is in Bristol and I believe the next one is in 2 weeks. This market also turns into a all singing and dancing dungeon at night and I have been invited to stay and meet the Doms.Dommes and Subs. I should be a bit nervous about this I guess but as I have 2 friends who are Dommes, Im not really nervous and I’m quite looking forward to it.

I have now decided to branch out from the normal Boudoir and provide a service for C/D’s and T Girls. I have started making friends with a few of them on various websites and they all tell me that there is a lack of good photographers in our area . As I am mobile, I have the added bonus of being able to visit them in their home or hotel/venue of their choice.
I am looking forward to providing a service and have the added bonus of adding a new circle of clients who I hope will become friends.
I have arranged to do a shoot next week with a stunning T-girl from Cardiff so watch this space for photos and updates.
